Exactly.  Archer and Bob are very distinct.

Which he recently reprised in person!

“Whacky?”

Same.  But I’m old.

Your go-tos for Domnhall Gleeson were “Star Wars” and “About Time?”  Jesus....

While Cox is pretty unhinged these days, he’s not wrong.  I don’t get out to the movies much, but, man do I regret seeing “Napoleon.”  Just awful.  Probably Scott’s worst movie.

I loved this book, but I had no idea it was going to be a TV show until like a week ago. McGregor is a fine choice.

Holy crap, “Loot” has a second season?  I could barely finish the first episode, it was so dull.  Is Apple just that eager to tease Jeff Bezos (an otherwise admirable goal?)

Social Network isn’t really part of the current trend and it’s a very different kind of movie.

I watched 3 of the 5 listed “making stuff” movies and I enjoyed them!

The article’s thesis nails it: This was never supposed to be a “franchise.” Sure, a cartoon spinoff aimed at kids is fine. But endless legacy sequels and a reboot? Ugh, no thanks. Particularly when most of them put the original up on some sacrosanct pedestal and complete miss the point? Bleh.

The original film exists as a movie within the continuity of the GB cartoon.

Excellent point.

Wouldn’t a sick person wearing a mask on a plane be an act of thoughtfulness?

It didn’t have to be a prequel.

Smart and perceptive individuals.

Yes.  “Big Adventure” was in a class by itself.

Beetlejuice was only intermittently entertaining and was always fairly overrated. It works in fits and starts, despite having a great cast doing great work and strong visuals. It’s almost exactly like his other work of the era (Batman, Scissorhands) in that regard.

I’d rather see him in the sequel to Burn After Reading.  Or Burn, Hollywood, Burn.  Just not Burn Notice.

Indeed.  Definitely a plus.
