Let’s go with that!
Let’s go with that!
What?! They killed off Charles Deetz! I’m sure Jeffrey Jones was free, I don’t think he’s been in anything for a while now.
That sounds like an awesome way to go through life!
I saw him at one of my local cafes a few years ago. I commented to the barista, who said, “Yeah, he’s here all the time!”
An “Office” spinoff? They do know it’s 2024, right?
I never played it, but for some reason, I read an interview with Ramis about it (or saw some making of video or something...?)
You’re right. It had its fair share. Not as much as “Afterlife” or, say, “The Force Awakens”, but they were there. I’m wrong.
Having an actor reprise a character they made famous is hardly what I’d call “shoehorning”, but you do you.
It’s an expansive world.
Maverick. Dial of Destiny. Blade Runner 2049.
The movie isn’t good, neither is it objectively terrible. It’s actually.....okay. It’s better than GB2 and Afterlife. Is it a movie I want to watch again? No. But I wasn’t bored and I was mildly entertained throughout. The few truly bad jokes were balanced by at least a handful of good ones.
Miller could have told any story he wanted to. He could have easily made this not a prequel.
if I was Charlize Theron, I’d be pissed. When Fury Road came out, everyone fell in love with her character and was clamoring for more.
not a huge fan of the JJ Trek movies (to say the least), but I wouldn’t exactly call Nimoy’s participation a “stunt.” He was a huge part of the movie and I thought the movie’s idea of creating a parallel universe so that they could tell new stories with familiar characters without violating canon was its most inspired…
It seems....perfectly fine. I’m intrigued by this show almost entirely because of Lesley Headland’s involvement. This didn’t exactly grab me, but my interest remains piqued.
No. But I do have to drive that far to find a decent theater these days.
“Men” was odd and confusing, but ultimately not good.
Exactly. There are thousands of embittered writers out there who are just CONVINCED that someone “stole their idea!” But that almost never actually happens. For every Art Buchwald, there are 500 false accusations.
I was being generous. The Zahn books were ass.
It may not be “half of all movies”, but it’s 80% of movies about teachers.
