Plagiarism of this kind (hollywood screenplays) is actually extremely UNcommon and the vast majority of these lawsuits are utterly without merit.

I’ve seen enough comments online from people who read Frisco and it’s extremely apparent that this is just (yet another) nothingburger.  For every one Art Buchwald, there are 500 of these cases.

If only it had been.....

But Tom Cruise said we had to!

I remember as a kid a friend of mine had a shirt that said, “Star Wars: The First Ten Years - 1977 - 1987" on it. And I thought that was deeply weird and sad.

Maverick is definitely one of the few (the only one off the top of my head) that is demonstrably, easily superior to the original.

When you set yourself on fire with drugs, you’re not hurting anyone else, though.

The fact that it actually got a second season is definitely a minor miracle and one that the show itself even joked about. I guess it was wildly unrealistic to expect it to go beyond that. And, frankly, it was running out of gas by the end, so it’s fine that it ended when it did.

Oh, darn!  That stinks.  I tried to buy the soundtrack when it came out, only to discover it was digital only.  A sinister portent of the world we now live in.

Fair enough.

Yeah, Beast was pretty good.

I stand corrected!  I thought the Kitty/Juggernaut fight was kinda fun.

You’d think they could just do an all-CGI version of the character with Jones’ voice. The same way they brought back Red Skull in the MCU, allowing Hugo Weaving to STILL not reprise the role even though it would have only been a voice-over.

Just want to say that I miss “Galavant.”  Jones was hilarious in it.  We did a series rewatch a couple of years ago.  What a fun show that was.

But isn’t Jones’ Juggernaut just about the only thing people liked about X-Men 3?

I mean, I wasted all that time watching it.  I have to have something to show for it.

Ugh, did I say boobs.  No.  My reasons were Mikey Day and Chloe Fineman. I think they’re funny.

I watched half of the first season and suddenly realized, “Holy shit, I’m bored.”  And then I stopped.

Did it really?  I haven’t been to the movies much recently.

There are two reasons why I watched that Hooters sketch.
