What is your point?  That weekly shows had higher viewership during their final episodes?  That isn’t remotely a new phenomenon and doesn’t bolster your erroneous argument one tiny bit. 

Fair point!  But if you want your show to get talked about, this is the exact wrong strategy that’s been proven over a couple of hundred times by now.  No one should be surprised.

I mean, sure, the line is clunky and expositional, but it’s not THAT clunky and expositional. And the line at least makes sense. It’s not garbled syntax or unclear or anything.

In that case, it’s not even adapting one book into one film but, what, five or six (not yet finished) books into one film? Uh, why even bother?
