My parents moved away a few months ago which was pretty depressing because I’ve been lucky enough to always live close to my mom. I loooove my mom so much. So I hosted my first Thanksgiving today! My brother and his family came over, along with my husband’s brother, and it was really a delightful day. I’m quite

There are 11 more episodes in the season. Maybe let’s wait and see what happens.

Yes, came here to say something similar. The Festival was founded in 1952. First production was Richard III with Alec Guinness in July 1953. Rain played Dorset and Tyrrel.

He didn’t actually co-found the Stratford Festival. He was part of the acting company in the Festival’s inaugural season in 1953. Festival itself was founded by Tom Patterson.

These reviews are bizarre. I understand the desire to hear about slavery from the point of view of black Americans and not white Europeans, but this is not that show; this is Outlander: the main character is a time-traveling, English white woman from the 1960s. So exactly how are you expecting this show to not “center

I hate to be this blunt, but I have never liked your reviews. Oh golly, Ian is suddenly into Native Americans and you’re annoyed that we haven’t seen any onscreen yet. As if there aren’t 11 more episodes in this season where that might reasonably happen.

Reading this choked me up a little. Elderly people are easy to ignore, which should let us all know that if we’re lucky enough to become elderly, the fast-moving world will mostly pass us by, too.

I wish that my three children didn’t require surgical intervention to enter the world. The havoc those C sections have wreaked on my back and abs can’t be overstated.

And Leo was like: ‘Ugh! You don’t know anything about tennis!’ And Bjorn said, ‘O.K., I will never say anything about tennis.’ ”

I can believe this. He probably doesn’t remember because it wasn’t a big deal to him. I think many men don’t remember bad things they do to women.

Stark memory from high school:

I did not enjoy Sixteen Candles, I never enjoyed Sixteen candles. I rewatched earlier this year and couldn’t believe how awful it was, far worse than I remembered.

One fucked-up irony of this is that, if he shouldn’t get this appointment, Kavanaugh would just return to his federal judgeship — with Merrick Garland [who, notably, didn’t have a screaming hissy-fit on national TV when he didn’t even get a hearing on his nomination.]

What Kavanaugh expressed wasn’t pain as normal people experience it.

This entire nomination process is just so gross. Leaving aside Ford’s accusations (which I find credible), Kavanaugh showed yesterday that he does not have the temperament or impartiality to serve on any federal court. That in and of itself should be disqualifying. But this is why elections matter. Everyone needs

Nobody remembers EVERY encounter with EVERY person they went to high school with.

I don’t want to be -that- Deadspin commenter but seriously, no article on John Tavares going to the Leafs?

I dunno, y’all. I want some original stories. So many women writers out there doing amazing work.

There’s also a “modern” retelling coming out in September. It looks bad.
