So this is illegal, but it’s entirely ok for evangelists to swindle millions by telling their congregations that “salvation is only a check away”?
Was the child actually hurt? The mother? I’m going to call that fairly earned coin until we get rid of the BS double standard that allows federally recognized religions to…
This doesn’t seem much worse than what Scientology or an lot of televangelists do.
has been charged with larceny, intimidation of a witness, and obtaining property over $250 by trick. She was arrested on December 27th.
Are you trying to tell us Trump eats lettuce?
I suspect that I have siblings who would have voted for Trump. Over Thanksgiving, 2016, I devised a clever way to determine if they did.
Rudy! RUDY! RU-DY!!
Watching Rudy lawyer that trial would be some good goddamn hilarious pay-per-view. Please buddy him up with Matt “DUI” Gaetz for a legal dream team.
You either die a star attorney putting mobsters in jail for racketeering or live long enough to see yourself become A Ghouliani...
Oh my God, as to Rudy testifying... YESSSSSSSSS! Bring it on. This zombie-vampire hybrid mess of genetics will give away the entire game in the first two seconds.
When I pointed out that it was a literal part of the Republican party platform to do so he said he didn’t agree that was true.
The only ones speaking out are those who are already stepping down, so they have nothing to lose. In other words, cowards.
They don’t care. None of his supporters care. At Christmas I tried desperately to get my father to entertain the idea that Trump is unfit for office, rampantly immoral, and clearly deeply unwell. He only cared about the Supreme Court.

It’s unfortunate that those on the right that speak up against this psychopath’s bullshit are forced out by the angry mob he has fed with lies.
Eh, I’d strongly suggest reading at least one of the Gospels, if only to do some serious compare-and-contrasts between the Jesus of the Bible, and the Jesus of the Christian Church. I’d suggest Luke, myself; according to Christian tradition, Luke was a physician, and so he tends to ground his Jesus in a baseline sense…
The head of the Catholic Church didn’t enjoy unwanted physical contact AND he fought back against the aggressor?
I honestly don’t blame him. I don’t care who the person is, you should not grab them unless you are pulling them out of the path of a moving car or they are on fire.
(Most) Chrisitans do a terrible job of following, emulating, or sharing the message of Christ. Jesus of the Bible was a pretty awesome guy with a very clear life message: love others and be decent. All of the BS that people love to quote from the Bible comes from writings outside of Christ’s life and teachings. The…
The Jesus Christ of the Gospels is a woke, inclusive, loving, man of the people. The caricature of a person “screaming about who is or isn’t going to hell” is Christians. Mainstream American Christianity today is not consistent with their Jesus of the Bible.
You might be interested in reading The Queen of the Tearling (the trilogy). The William Tear character is a great look into the psychological concept of Jesus as a secular figure. Plus, it’s just really good reading.
