I'd criticise him to his face if he wasn't dead.

But they themselves are white - doesn't #CrimingWhileWhite cancel that out?

Nice shade, saying Anna isn't 'pro'.

They're so brave.

I'm not your boo.

"SSish"

I feel like I can't fight the fight when I am literally sleeping with the enemy.

I'm not talking about intent - I'm talking about the outcomes of intent. If you think Black Americans aren't even slightly better off since schools were integrated and hate crimes legislation were introduced, that's your ignorance, not mine.

Calling me ignorant doesn't make your comment any less absurd. If you think the overt and unrepentent racism of that era is no different from well-meaning "racism" today, that's your problem, not mine.

To suggest that to be black in America today is just as bad as under Jim Crow is an insult to those who had to live (and die) in that era.

TBH this article is just the author's opinion, and she certainly doesn't speak on behalf of all Black Americans, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

What would you do if you found a bloodied, half-naked woman in a cell? Would you hold her close to your chest, would you make her feel comfort, so maybe later on she might fall in love with you? Or would you exploit her humiliation for your own amusement?

The thing is, I'm not.

I love how my responses are focused on my argument, and yours are focused on me personally. It makes me feel important.

If you elevate your relationship with an animal to the level of a relationship with a human, I'd call that a lack of perspective.

I love how self righteous assholes with children (or aspiring self righteous assholes with children) immediately see their choice as the righteous one which "contributes" something automatically meaningful to society, community etc by default and assume everyone else would share their view.

I have pretty much given up on the human race

If you follow a sociological model, the preference of animal company to human company would be a pretty unambiguous symptom of alienation.

Or maybe it demonstrates a lack of perspective?

They grow out of it.
