Ugh. People just need to respect shit like this. Drives me crazy.

I had a coworker (who was otherwise an excellent server) get fired because he told someone a dish was nut-free when it actually had a cashew spread on it. We were busy, and he forgot, but it was extremely careless. He didn’t even bother to mention the allergy to the kitchen. I saw her get carted off in an ambulance on

Yesterday’s Democracy Now discusses a white Muslim man who was the target of an FBI sting operation. When they were unable to entrap him in a terror plot (and he got wise to the fact he was being targeted and got in touch with the ACLU), they got him on illegal possession of a deadly weapon using a picture of him

I’m actually an International Nasty Girl.

This is my hometown. Glad to know it’s just as I left it.

I'm really grateful that Yellow Tail is the only vegan wine I can get under $6. It means the only poison in my body is the slow decay I'm experiencing by drinking a bottle of Yellow Tail every night.

For me it's the fact that she tagged something as NSFW to be viewed by the FCC, whose job it is to determine what is too inappropriate for the airwaves.

More like MENoriam! Amirite?

I wouldn't mind if you said, "I'm intolerant to unfermented soy. Is there any soy besides the tempeh in this dish?" I would probably be annoyed if you said, "I'm intolerant to unfermented soy? Is tempeh fermented? What about tofu? What about veganaise? Oh, I guess I can have a little." I didn't say this as well before

I've said this in a couple other places but it's not so much the person telling me they only eat fermented soy (which I know is better on the digestive system) but when people get things with veganaise or tofutti cream cheese and say, "Well, a little is okay." I'm happy to accommodate any and all tummy problems, but

I know there's health benefits to fermented soy, I just wish people wouldn't call it an allergy, because with allergies I'm going to eliminate all cross-contamination. I didn't know about the coriander thing, though. Also, you don't have to apologize. These are pretty bad examples that I came up with quickly on my

Yeah, I know there's benefits. I guess I just get really annoyed with the "allergy" thing. I'm a manager at a vegan restaurant. I know a lot about soy. No need to lie. I also get more frustrated when someone claims to have the restriction but doesn't seem to know anything about it or it only applies some of the time.

I work in a vegan restaurant, which means people with weird dietary restrictions flock there, and I get shit like this ALL THE TIME. "I'm allergic to soy, unless it's fermented." "I'm allergic to cilantro, not coriander." It happens at least once a day.

Summer Rain is eerily close to the cam girl name I picked out for myself but never used because I realized I was not cut out for that life.

Do you know if different eating disorder diagnoses are related to different chemical processes in the brain? Or if different diagnoses have different comorbidities, such as bulimia with OCD or anorexia with anxiety? (I'm making those up, for the record.) I'm just curious if there's any distinction beyond how the

"There are organic herbal martinis and herbal libations, but you probably don't need them."

I once had sex with the bartender at a shitty margarita bar near my campus just because his ex-girlfriend was a former subletter who stole some speakers from me and I wanted to use him to get them back.

Of course this is from an Alpha Chi.
