If my 12-year old son got a bare-bones Kindle, he would be able to download games, and spend time playing them instead of reading books. That's the only thing holding me back on purchasing a Kindle for him.

Purchase a high chair that fits onto a regular chair. We didn't have the space for a stand-alone one in our kitchen/dining areas when the kids were small. That same high chair is small enough to store and is brought out when we have small guests.

I haven't seen it in any reviews, but I think the ending scene with Don sitting on his freezing balcony was his way of trying to "dry out." The conversation with the airplane lady about her thirsty (now dead) husband and seeing Freddy's success sober prompts Don into action.
