I'm less concerned with the money I'm spending, and more concerned with the time I'm wasting. Life is too short to watch annoying movies (I say annoying as opposed to bad, because you can never watch The Room too many times).

So how may people here posted on the alt.tv.simpsons?  I read it a lot (I would've been 9 when this episode aired) and I'm quite sure I posted more than a once. Although its a fairly up beat show,  Gilmore Girls was really good at ending it's episodes on an ever-so-slightly cynical, "life is kind of unsatisfying" note. So many episodes conclude with conflict being unresolved, but in a way that was nicely understated.
