Although its a fairly up beat show,  Gilmore Girls was really good at ending it's episodes on an ever-so-slightly cynical, "life is kind of unsatisfying" note. So many episodes conclude with conflict being unresolved, but in a way that was nicely understated.

I feel pretty similar. I didn't actually go ahead and have intercourse until I was 18, and it was long term boyfriend who I had been having a "sexual" relationship with for several years, but at the same time I never felt like losing it should be a big deal, or that it should be saved for true love. The only reason I

If we're talking about characters who are shoehorned into the show long after their usefulness has worn out, I'd say Spike is a more fitting character. He certainly had more to do in later years than Xander, but there seemed to be less and less justification for him to be hanging around. Every scene he was in after

I remember seeing the summer promos for the first season. I was 10 and a fan of things like Unsolved Mysteries, so the premiere was pretty much the most highly anticipated thing in my life up until that moment.

I guess my question would be is the shooter even to blame, (since he is more than likely a victim of mental illness)? Most horrific crimes of this nature are committed by people who are either a) suffering from delusions or b) lacking in empathy. In this case it was most likely the latter. If society is to blame for

I know some people would consider it a huge waste of time, but for me half the fun of vinyl shopping is spending an hour hunting through bins. I like the element of chance involved, since I'll often go in with one thing in mind, and walk out with something entirely unexpected. There's a second hand record store on my

I don't know if anything will ever beat the Angel Season 3 buried at sea cliffhanger, and seeing as I was watching it in syndication, I only had to wait until the end of the weekend for the resolution.

Did they use big words, or talk quickly though? Sam definitely had some obscure knowledge of camping, but that seemed to make sense to his character. I actually found the kid characters to be more realistic than your average movie. They're right at that age where they are getting self-conscious about saying the wrong

I am totally with you. Normally I'm cool with melodrama, but I felt like everything in The Deep Blue Sea was way too heightened, to the point of being comical (with the exception of the stellar subway scene). The central relationship is pathetic, and since the films intro speeds through the honeymoon period of their

It's like you're all a bunch of Louis C.Ks.

I really should've put a *sigh* in there somewhere.
