"Luke."
"Yes?"
"That was just my way of saying goodbye."

I would argue that Alexis Bledel has gotten increasingly awkward with age. Or at lest, when she was young it read authentic (in that she's supposed to be an awkward teenager). But now she really seems uncomfortable in her own skin. In the opening scene she's practically grimacing behind her cheerful banter.

Michel referring to his husband got the biggest cheer of the night from me.

I think Dan himself has published the theory (as developed by scientists) that women have clits for the same reason men have nipples. It's merely a result of the developmental stage at which they occur in the womb. Basically, the cluster of cells that becomes the clitoris is what would've grown into a penis on a boy,

oh yes, this. I was watching a movie with my boyfriend the other day and someone asked a question like, "do you think he'll succeed?" and the other guy just looks at him for a minute, maybe puts a hand on his shoulder, and then basically says "see you later". And I was like, "what a dick". It really does happen in

Where do I have to go in this comments section to find the Danny Strong love? It's getting to the point where I can almost guarantee he's going to turn up in my favorite show of the moment.

Was expecting to see all the paintings from The 7th Guest. If I recall correctly though, may of them were puzzles within the game, so I'm not sure if they would count.

The actress who plays Liz was in an episode of Twin Peaks too (she played Lucy's sister).

Thanks for the confidence boost - I've been feeling a bit unhinged lately.
The thing is, right now we're having the best sex we've had in years (baby is pretty good about going to bed at a reasonable hour). Both of us are being totally rocked in that department. I guess I just feel like the friendship between us has

A bunch of you were really helpful with regards to my relationship troubles last week, so I just wanted to update you on our situation.
Things seem to be getting better between Mr. Bow and I, though it's a complicated and sometimes rocky procedure. After my post last week, he suggested we have "the other woman" over

It's true. The contrasting textures of their voices is just sublime.

One thing that's always bugged me though, is when Christopher says of Gigi "she's perfect" to which Lorelai responds, "Rory was perfect." I know the show is trying to illustrate that Lorelai has some unresolved issues about how things went down, but it seems especially self-centered and insenstive, even for Lorelai…

So, I'm pretty convinced this Chloe Bennett (Skye) is Joss's very own made to order genetic hybrid:  70% Eliza Dushku, 30% Amy Acker.

"frankly, this episode seems to be more about the attack of a wayward curling iron than any crazy swan…."

sounds kind of similar to ASMR.

I think it's just his commitment to playing Will as across-the-board unappealing and unlikeable. Before this show, I thought Jeff Daniels was one of the most likeable presences in hollywood (remember Pleasantville?), so it's a real testament to his talent.

I think it's also fair to say that she was confused because she thought Dean was the one she was SUPPOSED to want. She clearly had the hots for Jess, but that doesn't mean that the prospect of dating a bad boy was appealing. The way I see it, Rory was trying really hard to want her "perfect" boyfriend, because it was

Is there something about the criteria of this list that I'm missing that explains the absence of Buffy's "The Wish"? Or is it just that alternate realities are too much of a mainstay of the Buffyverse?
?
*edit* I suppose it fits into the "It's a Wonderful Life category

I just had a baby, and I didn't find out the sex beforehand. I have to say it really annoyed people that they couldn't just buy pink or blue - and it really annoyed me that people still actually believe a boy can't wear pink, or a girl can't wear blue. As a result I got a lot of green, and yellow, but also some "boy"

I don't write in margins, but I do like to underline those occasional lines, or passages that seem to sum up everything you think about he world at this moment. And sometimes I'll transcribe them into my diary.
