I do miss her long hair/mohawk though. Some of the art from Deconnick’s run was just gorgeous when she was flying, it really sold her movement. Women change their hair all the time though, and someday she’ll get board and let it grow out again.

That is a good one. I’ll add two more
I’m kicking myself becays I heard about it a few months ago, but forgot to ask my comic shop to order it. Hopefully they got some copies themselves that I can get off the shelf :(
Oo! I wanna try!
Well, point 2 (men directing male protagonist stories) is pretty much the default of reality right now. We are definitely going to need a large sampling pool of all the combinations before we can make scientifically sound statement on which sex is best at directing which sex.
I always feel kinda sorry for her when I think about her teenage years, my girl friends in high school were very important to me. Jean is in this school where she is the ONLY girl and all the boys seem to really be into her. She doesn't have her telepathy yet either, so she takes it at face value. I like what Bendis…
I agree, I thought owl when I saw that picture. Surprised people see a cat.
I think they did a few solo things, but a lot of their popular stuff was written together. I think they are still writing together, but are definitely known for their Dragonlance stuff back in the 90s.
Margaret Weis and Tracey Hickman? I mean, I thought their Dragonlance: Chronicles series was good. The Death Gate Cycle series, what I can remember of it, was enjoyable. On reading it I never noticed a change in the narrative voice, so to young me it appeared to be seamless too. I have no idea how they went about…
I had to star you for the Tanis Halfelven reference, have not heard that name in ages. Ah, memories.
So great. When I first saw his concept sketches a few years ago, I really, really wanted a new cartoon in his style. A comic book is just as good though!
He wants everything.
Littlefinger doling out the lessons on how the world works yet again. Really enjoyed this, very beautiful.
I'm sorry, I don't know what this is or remember anything about this having ever happened. Is it from an alternate time line?
How difficult would it really be to have shared universe on TV? Especially if they take place in, say, different cities? Arguably the Movies are where the big, world changing events would happen, right? I'd think the TV shows would be smaller scale, more intimate affairs that rarely impact the other shows unless it…
Well... in that case, doesn't he work as playing Joffery?
Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series and Alpha and Omega Series. I love this world, I'm actually re-reading them again (for the 5th time?) and just love all the little details, and the mix of European and Native North American mythology has been lovely. I love her heroines, I love her heroes, I love her bad guys who…
Rocket tells the good guy ships to fire up at the falling enemy ships. He takes a position facing up just like on the games screen.
Not referenced in this video, and maybe I'm stretching it, but I was sure the part where Rocket tells everyone to shoot the falling badguy ships before they hit the ground was a Galaga reference, it even looked like the game. Did anyone else get that feeling?
This is only tangentially related, but I need to know. Did anyone else catch the Galaga reference in GotG? I've been away from the Internet all weekend or I would have asked sooner.
