I just had to laugh at this. My computer is very thankful that I had just swallowed my tea before I finished your comment. Well done.

NYY signed Damon after BOS won a series (and watched them win another one with Damon). They paid $21m more than BOS did for 4 years, he had a .285 BA from a .295 (meh) in BOS. Had 60 more SO in NYY than in BOS and had 200+ less plate appearances. He did have more HR as a Yankee though, so there's that.
Contestant said the wrong phrase, and WoF judges are straict about saying/pronouncing the words properly. A girl lost a wheel round once for saying "swimmin" instead of "swimming". If you're going on Wheel, you should know to pronounce the words properly.
The issue is that the guy's name is't "Han", it's "Hans". There is a difference, especially for a Jeopardy answer looking for a specific person's name. There's nothing wrong with that situation, as it's also not the first time that someone said the wrong name/answer and lost.
The Jets might sign this guy, cause he doesn't run into his teammates butt. Then again, that's how Sanchez "practiced" it repeatedly...
He was probably referring to Champ Kind from Anchorman, who was the sportscaster and said "Whammy" a lot.
OOOOOOOH, I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE
