One of my favorite stories about fictional languages is that Mark Okrand designed Klingon to resemble E prime in the sense that there is no verb for "to be". Then as part of the (honestly somewhat silly) Klingon obsession with Shakespeare, Nick Meyer added a quote in Klingon of "To be or not to be" as a last minute

Makes sense, they have eight fingers instead of ten, correct?

Only if she's actually storm born please. I for one am tired of William's who don't desire helmets, Matthew's who are not gifts from Yahweh, and Arthur's who are not bears.

Sure, but there's "I love my job" not caring about the money and then there's "I'm independently wealthy with a really expensive hobby" not caring about the money.

That's pretty clever. It's not a perfect fit, but it's far closer than anything I could see. Not sure whether to credit you, the writers, or both. :-) Thanks.

Mephistopheles does less of his own dirty work than Malvo, IMO. He's more about corrupting people to do evil than killing people himself.

Do you think that was intentional, or just sloppy?

Not to mention the capital cost of setting up a dental practice.

And $100,000 seems like a pretty low payday for an elaborate six month charade that requires the capital investment of setting up a dental practice and establishing an upper middle class (at least) lifestyle.

You should probably let him know that Blair Witch Project was also not actual found footage.

It's not a trick question in the sense that there is a solution that works.

That was bit contrived though. Who in MN in winter doesn't have a coat close to hand, easy to grab on the way out the door?

When the son mentioned dropping out of the cloud cover to get a better shot, I was sure the RAF was going to get a chance to save Jack's bacon. I guess they're not American enough to qualify for heroism.

It's not clear that Gandhi ever said that, though it was certainly consistent with his philosophy:

Humans were created by kittens to run the internet and feed their insatiable narcissism.

Well that iteration of it certainly was, at least:

I meant his telepathy, not his phasing (he really does have too many powers to keep track of!).

I can see that, Personally, I just got really tired of the frequent skirmishing with the Cabal that didn't really resolve anything, but just felt like padding out to 26 episodes. And I think the best of Assemble is still just OK compared to the best of EMH.

His reply did push my buttons and your concerns were worth expressing. I hope I did better in my repiles to you than I did in my replies to him. I hope you can appreciate that there can be strong feelings on my side as well.
