Sorry, but I feel strongly about this because it the "hippies spat on returning vets" meme was a low rent Dolchstoßlegende that did a lot of harm in the '80s. So the fact that it's mostly if not completely bullshit is an important fact that deserves a robust defense. When some random person on the Internet (who may be…
I really liked Earth's Mightiest Heroes season 1, though some people find the first part before the team forms up to be a bit slow. Season 2 had some issues, but also some bright spots.
Well, except for the "no casualties" line.
Yes,.frustratingly, a GL ring can create only empty Tanqueray bottles.
At some point, you have to accept that some pretty young kids are part of the audience for this show. Personally I'm OK with some concessions to that.

I linked to an article by a professional historian who has done significant work on this issue.
FWIW, I didn't deny that it ever happened, just that it was apparently so rare as to never be documented.
Both are great, though the animated version is more recent and familiar for me.
One of my favorite subtle touches in "For the man who has everything" is that on the Krypton that never exploded, Kal-El is a farmer like the Kents, not a scientist like his father. IIRC, he's a wheat farmer, no less.
FWIW, Napalm was first used in WWII, including against civilian targets, both in Europe (Berlin) and Japan.
They're just two straight white guys, one of whom is a mad, egotistical menace to all mankind, and the other of whom is Victor von Doom.
