Cost to rent a movie without Ana de Armas in it: $3.99

Which is why my wife and I decided to stream it for family movie night a few years ago. It had been so long since I saw anything but the TV version that I’d forgotten...well, a lot.  PG was really something back in the day, actually meaning “parental guidance” as opposed to “100% safe for kids.”

I’m a Springsteen nut, but I don’t think it would help me with that movie!

Huh!  All those years I thought that.  Thanks for setting the record straight!  Both you and lattethunder.

He originally intended to use Springsteen songs in “Mask,” but the studio inserted cheaper Bob Seger songs on him. He was so mad about it, he actually threatened to remove his name from the credits! (I might be wrong, but I think they used the Springsteen tunes later when it came out on dvd.)

He was a big Springsteen fan, too.

or get the name of the movie right — that colon is not in the actual title. (huh-huh-huh ... he said ‘colon’)

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that was a thinly veiled euphemism for ‘she won’t let us casting couch her’.

Wasn’t photogenic” = “won’t let me take nudes of her”

Hollywood executives were morons nearly from the start, apparently.

You know what, at this point I’m rooting for him to never finish ASOIAF. Take it to the grave, my man. I have never seen such an ungrateful, impatient, ignorant fan base.

The highly anticipated series hits Hulu on January 18"

Community did it!

I’m surprised they didn’t mention the acting award she did win, even though they mentioned the show (AHS), a 2016 Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Miniseries

She didn’t, but fawning over Lady Gaga’s acting fits in perfectly with the AV Club Narrative (tm).

Far as I’m concerned the 1606 Globe Theatre performance of “Macbeth” is the definitive version and anything else is a superfluous waste of time.
