@suss6052: My first thought too. A lot of hatchbacks have huge blindspot issues. Volvo C30 got it right, but too bad it got everything else wrong.

@sovapid: Just this past January got caught in a wind/dust storm driving from Tucson to Phoenix on I-10. Pulled off at a truck stop and overheard truck drivers saying "It almost blew me over, I'm not going back out there!" I figured it a good idea to wait it out if even the truckers don't drive through it.

@LuckyChuck: I concur that this should be at the top of the list.

@LastVigilante: Seriously, though. How does one "spin" a car going straight? Though, I suppose traveling 188mph on an crystalized salt surface involves forces of physics that I am not worthy of understanding.

Why did you turn?!

Traffic to and from Kennedy Space Center, FL for a Space Shuttle Launch. Generally worth it, but an enormous buzzkill for the adrenaline fueled pride in humanity feeling you get from watching a live launch.

@faulknerswhiskey: Yes, but like the S90 it is limited to digital zoom. You'll need something from the Canon SX line for optical zoom during video.

@foo: Mine either. Perhaps something to do with my already extremely strict privacy settings?

@small-fox: The newly updated Facebook Mobile apps have added this feature automatically. I'm not sure if it is active or passive about check-ins though.

Well, thats convenient. I just bought an S90 last month. *Unintelligible Grumble*

@justrick: Nowhere on the eastern half of the US is a good place to start.

Dirt and salt complements rust very nicely.

@mexi1010: I got dibs on the Museum of Science & Industry Omnimax theater!

@Canon7D-Fanboy: When they call it Knifecrime Island, they aren't kidding!

Chicago has cars too! Well, that is, until they're reduced to a pile of rust particles after two winters.

@sos10: I'm going to say that the nondescript logo on the truck will turn out to be related to said product / website / video game / contraceptive device / etc being virally marketed.

Event Plug: If you're in Chicago(land) the Adler Planetarium is having a Perseid Meteor Shower Star Party at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, IL on Thursday night. Get somewhat outside the city for better skies, and astronomy clubs are bringing telescopes that the public can view other, non-meteor astronomical objects all

@Jackie: Ending films like that is all the rage these days.

"90. Hoe"

@80toy: Totally anatomically incorrect. Her... helmet bags... are about a mile apart from eachother.
