except by all accounts (press releases, set photos, etc.) it was actually being viewed fairly positively by consumers. also a small film released direct to streaming was not going to harm the DC brand any more than MoS, BvS, SS, or JL did. at this point their DCCU is long dead and all we are getting now are standalone…

That’s fair, and really, I didn’t take it that way.

You could be right, I mean he isn’t the greatest actor in the world but I would argue he was probably the most famous actor in the world during peak HP times.  But I have enjoyed him in some of the stuff he did after HP, he was a blast in Swiss Army Man, while not having a SINGLE line, and he was great in Guns Akimbo.

I love the books, and this series has done them justice so far. The fact that we will get to see the whole set adapted is a small miracle. I think season 2 is a pacing improvement over season 1, and based on this trailer and what happens in the third book, I’d say it’s well worth finishing season 2 to get the final…

This is a great fucking story. I’d be jealous, but in high school I played in a band with a golden globe award winning comedian who just dropped the third season of his hit sitcom on Hulu. Any time I see a commercial I laugh and remember high school.

Can I just say how fucking good this show looks? Like, it’s so much better looking than just about any other major genre streaming show out there. Everything looks crisp and vivid. Night scenes and scenes in darkly-lit places actually have depth and color and aren’t dominated by the same shitty uniform light source…

J4 is also considered to be an unplayable hand for the most part. Therefore it’s a junk hand.

And today I learned she’s Nora Allen in the (eternally doomed) Flash movie that’s totally coming out some time.
