This would have hit a lot harder if the show had done a better job of hiding that Qimir was the Master.
That’s probably a lot of it, but also I think a lot of it is that games developers usually put a lot of time and polish into the experience, where movie executives just want Brand Name Movie X out into theaters to make $$$ as soon as possible, usually without a really clear view of what the movie is first.
