Quest 3 would be able to run Alyx without a PC from a specs standpoint, but you’re right that Valve would have to license Sony to run the game on the PS5 instead of SteamVR.

Yeah, I don’t even have any PC anymore. Just running on my 2013 Macbook that’s still great for everything except games and video editing, and a work Mac I can’t install anything on.

All I want is to play a good version of Half-Life: Alyx, but as I don’t have a decent home computer I keep hopign the Quest 3 comes out sooner than later and is capable of playing it wirelessly.

In case somebody needs a... er, easier way to save locally:

I really have no idea what you’re talking about, sorry. Low latency gaming mode for games? I’ve just gone through all my television’s settings and see nothing like what you’re talking about. There’s a “Gaming” setting to the vision options but games frankly look much better on normal settings than with this on.

Right. The issue seems to be with Sony not supporting Dolby Vision and Atmos, not a technical limitation. The PS5 Netflix and Prime apps export 5.1 and 4K just fine, just not Atmos or the level of video quality I get through the tv version of the same apps.

Not sure what you mean by “changing the display settings”. I keep the same settings on PS5 games and PS5 Netflix.

“Christmas Movie”: Any movie that features Santa Claus and/or a story set in December where estranged family members are fighting weather, unfortunate events, burglars, terrorists, monsters or any other plot contrivances to be together, and which includes one or more popular Christmas songs in the soundtrack.

One more:

Yep. Finished it on normal mode and it was basically just “activate every character’s most powerful special, wait for them to cool down, repeat” all the way through the game.

That part was super fun. Just use dash to try to always stay away from both, pepper them with a missile or two, then dash some more. Don’t worry about getting it done quickly, just play “stay away” and take your time.

He’s very obviously talking about the subheader.

Heroic, only way to play halo

I think because in that MGS scene players were pounding on the button furiously... Kojima is saying he himself is pounding on something furiously.

That makes a ton of sense. Thanks for being cool enough to sort a stranger out.

I guess I don’t get this, and apologies, I haven’t played Halo online since being pretty invested in Halo 3.

Game of Thrones

The fuck did you just say?

Not sure if “games I have ever played a second or third time” was a typo, but I only finished Final Fantasy VI once and I would be okay with calling it the greatest game of all time. Certainly in the top ten. Fantastic characters, huge story, amazing twists, great gameplay, unbeatable music, all while doing things no

People refusing to crunch anymore hurting the final product maybe?
