2nd gear:  GM’s logistics are so screwed up that they’ve shut down any access to vehicle tracking outside of the dealer and GM themselves, and even then it’s a crapshoot.  They can’t get me a ship date or even tell me why my truck is still sitting in a holding yard.

Beat me to it.  Not just the Bong, it’s the Dick Bong bridge. Ok.. Richard I. Bong memorial bridge.

That’s sure what it seems like, early mile failures are usually out of spec parts.  But would Ford build a batch of 2.7's that only go into the Bronco?  Given the amount of other Ford vehicles that use the 2.7 it’s odd that it has only been happening to the Bronco so far.

In the case of the Polestar, they couldn’t reliably tell me when the car would be delivered to me, and the date that their app said kept slipping back, multiple weeks at a time.

I also just saw one of those for the first time last week.  Couldn’t believe someone actually dropped the cash for one of those things.

I don’t think any of the special tax stuff gets tacked on to vehicle sales.

6.5%, ackshually

Last time I ordered from Bike Bandit was probably 10+ years ago. Now I stick to local shops or Revzilla / Rocky Mountain ATV / Cycle Gear

Also the fact that they’re not taking into account the energy needed to load the train at the top.

Base Bronco + squatch package is $39k for the 2 door, 42k 4 door. To get the setup I want (4 door, squatch, heated seats, hardtop) runs just over 48k. Feel like they dropped the heated seat option down a trim level, seem to remember it pushing pricing well over 50k last I checked but it’s been a while since I played

Folks, we’re in the golden age of off-road buffoonery, and I am loving it.

Was at the first decent sized moto night at a local taproom last Thursday.  There’s always going to be asshats here and there, but no single make has a larger percentage of them than Harley.

Funny, my ‘88 had a Quad 4 HO in it.

Did you own an ‘88? Loved mine, was a great car.

Traffic on my daily commute is almost back to pre-pandemic levels.  It also looks like the weekend MN cabin trip traffic is back.

Pontiac Fiero.  It would be great to have a mid-engine competitor to the Toyobaru / Miata.

I’d rather deal with the outside environment than be stuck driving a Cruze.

Neutral:

I’m assuming this is the one good story to come out of Florida for the next century or so.

I’ve seen reports of mid 30's for Z71 Duramax Colorado’s, potentially better when you tune them. The ZR2 loses out a few mpg’s with being wider / taller, off road bumper and tires.
