My Cramro takes 10 quarts of 5w-40 synthetic. I think I spent somewhere around $90 for oil and filter last time I did it. Air filter and cabin filter would add what, $20-40?
I've thought about doing Uber / Lyft for funsies with my Cramro SS.. but the thought of a drunky vomiting all over the interior puts a stop to that idea
GM knows what they're doing when it comes to mag ride. My SS 1LE is seriously comfy in tour mode. Track mode is almost like a different car
SS 1LE or Mustang GT PP2 will wreck this thing on the track and save you 20k. Or spend the 63k and get a GT350 or ZL1
Z/28.. but at least that had meaningful upgrade over an SS Camaro. They just picked the wrong time to try to sell a stripped out track car
Looks like it’s on stilts
Neutral: Possibly. My Xterra just hit 180000 on the ODO (so probably closer to 190+ actual) and although nothing major is wrong with it, I just have that feeling that something is gonna let go. Shopping between a Frontier Pro4x and Colorado ZR2. Both of which are rare in an extended cab / long bed variant up here…
Even worse with the mid-size trucks. I’m in the market, and short cab / long bed Frontier / Colorado / Tacomas are more rare than hen’s teeth. At least in the Pro4x / ZR2 / TRD variants. I think there’s 10 total and nothing much closer than 200 miles from Minneapolis. Switch to crew cab, and there’s hundreds.
GM could always have changed the programming, but even in stealth mode the current NPP (active exhaust) will open the valves above 4000rpm at full throttle.
I haven’t driven one, but I’ve seen a few at the local HPDE events and they’re deceptively quick.
I never understood all the hate. Even stock the 350 / 370Z sounded pretty damn good.
F-35 has them beat. That thing is seriously loud. The Duluth air show up here in MN this past summer had an F-35 demo and the Blue Angels. I think the one F-35 was louder than 4 F-18's. They also had a C-17 pull an almost vertical takeoff.. that was something to see.
GM has it nailed, at least on the SS 1LE. I’m also far from mastering the heel-toe.. but why bother when the car can do it and hit the exact RPM needed for the speed and gear.
I had an ‘88 Fiero with the Quad4 HO swapped into it. Fun car, the Quad really fit the character of the car.
Do you mean turbo in-line 4? I don’t think there’s an N/A inline 4 out there that’s making 375hp from the factory.
My Camaro still has a big ole’ V8 with 455hp, and 3 pedals.
As someone whos most fuel efficient vehicle is a 455hp 6.2l V8 (it’ll get 25+mpg on the highway...) I’m all for a higher fuel tax. With the hope that they would spend that revenue on infrastructure upgrades..
I used that trick once or twice back in my Fiero owning days
