There’s generally still a low pressure fuel pump before the HPFP to prime the system.  As soon as I open the door on my Cramro the LPFP kicks on.   A replacement runs $230-340 on Rock Auto, so not the end of the world.  And pretty easily accessible after removing the intake manifold.

It’s a shame you can’t adjust front camber from the factory even on ‘track’ focused Mustangs

Probably whatever you can get with replacement camber bolts.. because, for whatever reason, you can’t adjust camber from the factory even on a ‘track’ pack Mustang.

Yeah well.. I was on the Nordschleife in August and pretty sure I set the lap record for a rental matte green Suzuki Swift driven by an American on the second Monday in August.

The added note about Nürburgring / Nürnberg (Nuremburg) is only on the English version of their FAQ.. so aimed at tourists.

When I was setting up a rental for the Nurburgring, they had a specific note to make sure you didn’t accidently enter Nuremburg in the GPS for directions to the track.  Apparently more than 1 customer made that mistake, and you end up 4 hours away..

Eh, it’s ‘character’. Everyone loves Ford’s Voodoo 5.2 FPC V8, but it vibrates so much it’s been snapping AC compressor bolts off in the block.

I crossed one off my bucket list and drove the ‘Ring last Monday. Rented a little prepped Suzuki Swift (136hp!) and it was intense.  Forza 7 did not prepare me for what the elevation changes are actually like, nevermind the ring taxis that blow by with inches to spare.

Actually just drove down that exact street last week. Those ‘chicanes’ are generally placed at the entrance to a town and are meant to force you to slow down.  Sometimes it’s a single, sometimes double.

Gilbert OHV area! Great place, with some awesome trails. I’ve been up that hill they sent you on and it really is steeper than it looks. Spent a lot of time up there when I had my XJ

Can’t speak on the convertible stuff but..

Were there spectators on the other side?  Maybe the Mustang couldn’t resist it’s natural urges.

60-70mph range. Can get at or above the 30mpg mark if you really baby it. 5th and 6th are both OD gears in the TR6060, with 6th being .5

You’re forgetting the Z/28, had the LS7

That’s.. roughly the same MPG as my Camaro SS. 17-18 mpg in stop and go traffic. Around 20 with some more highway mixed in, and 27-28 if it’s all highway. It’s a manual so no cylinder deactivation.

Seriously, the base model outgoing corvette has more performance than the main line of ferraris and lambos and porsches of 1999 and the Mustang and Camaro also come close - that’s just the tip of the iceberg too.

Biggest plus of an electric motorcycle for commuting - no sitting on top of a hot lump of an engine with a fan blowing 200* air right in your crotch when stuck in traffic.

More stories please

I tried checking Rock Auto but they didn’t have pricing for some reason..

I’d say the C7 GS / Z06, GT350/R, GT500, ZL1 / 1LE..
