Yeah, even in my relatively ‘old’ 2010 Xterra it’ll turn off cruise control if wheel slip is detected.

Are they that special? In 2009 I paid $6000 for a 2005 Kawi Z1000 in mint condition with just over 4,000 miles. So, 20 years newer and with fuel injection and modern (although not necessarily great) suspension.
Camaro is *slightly* smaller than the Mustang (longer wheelbase though) and around 50-100lbs lighter depending on spec.
Stealing a comment from the 6th gen Camaro forum:
You are not. I would do indecent things to get my hands on a Trophy Loaf.
I live in MN, home of the pothole. The 1LE isn’t a daily driver for me, but even if it was I fully expect more than 2 years. I’ve got a couple hundred miles on it at the local track and it’s got some rough sections, including a large bump (more of a ledge across the whole track) in the middle of a heavy braking…
A $375 coil over would be a massive downgrade compared to the active damping that Magneride provides.
Compared to standard stuff, I guess. Front Magride struts on my Camaro are $360 a piece and shocks $260, Mustang looks like same for the struts but $375 for the shocks. Not sure why the shocks are $100 more for the Stang.. so not cheap but not crazy expensive either. About the same as a set of decent tires, which…
Interior is subjective.. I think the Mustang interior is hokey (ground speed? seriously?) and cluttered.
Or just buy an SS 1LE and enjoy not having to swap out suspension bits and add cooling just to be able to run a full session at the track :D
If it’s going to be cold (under 45* at night) make sure you have an insulated air mattress.
Damn. Last time at the track I averaged 7.5mpg in my 1LE.
But isn’t that like.. 75% of the fun of an AWD car, to launch it?
Will camber be adjustable from the factory or will you still need camber bolts / plates to get any adjustment on the front?
That crane would most likely be using standard petroleum or synthetic hydraulic oil. Nothing corrosive about it. It’s only when you get into the Phosphate Ester based fluids that you run into those issues, but you’re typical mobile crane will not be using that.
I just looked, and the sport @ 35k msrp seems pretty solid. LSD, carbon driveshaft, 4 piston / 14" rotors up front.. With Jalop’s general hard-on for cheap, RWD manual sports cars this seems to get a lot of hate.
Still using less oil than the average GT350
My SS 1LE has no lift shift (all the 6th gen Cramros do, actually) from the factory.
