I think you dropped a decimal from your profits. Amazon did not make $115B in profit on $280B in revenue. Their margins can’t be that good. 

You don’t get to pocket revenue, you pocket profits. Though I suspect your numbers are in fact profits, not revenue.

Own the boat but rent the truck? That has to be backward. If you’re going to own the boat own the truck. No one wants to go rent a truck for the spur of the moment Saturday boat picnic. If you don’t own a tow vehicle you will never use that boat.

It is far from certain that we will realize self-driving tech in the near future. I would certainly not call it inevitable.

I assume all autopilot would do in this situation if it had seen the truck is stop. Assuming I didn’t want to hang out with the sideways truck, I’d start moving over as soon as I saw the truck.
