Megatron was one of the best parts of Beast Wars.

No, no, no...Slade needs his own show about him tracking down his son (who eventually turns evil in 2077). Maybe Constantine could lend a hand :)

Now playing

This clip has the first two lines of that exchange, about 18 seconds in:

But it seems the show can’t stop showing us Stephen Amell in a variety of ridiculous wigs that tell us we’re looking at the “past.”

I’m going to vent here about how much I fucking hate the Ravi/Peyton/Blain love triangle.

I feel like all of this is going to be so much better now that Clive is in on it. Though even before, he was theorizing that she was taking on aspects of the people she had “Visions” about back when he just thought she was psychic.

....and remember that iZombie is often just a delightful hour of television.

Now, this isn’t a criticism of the show (which I love), but can’t she freeze portions of every brain and then choose them situationally? Maybe a little too much callback humor to work in practice, but still, it seems the obvious thing to do.

WAAAAAAGH!

Wrong! Not the future!

If you didn’t choke up at least at “We are Groot,” then I don’t want to know you.

When the credits rolled after the first Mass Effect game I very literally felt like I should be getting up, throwing away an empty bucket of popcorn, and walking out of the theater.

To me it was the conversations with Legion in both 2 and 3.
Plenty of other amazing moments.
But when he asks “Does this unit have a soul?” i seriously choked up.
And i straight up cried when he sacrifices himself to return free-will to indoctrinated Geth.

I LOVE the Olympics, summer games in particular (obviously). I am watching closing ceremony now and feeling blue because how did the two weeks go by already?! And now I have to wait another FOUR years?!? *sobs*

Confession: I get a little emotionally wibbly when they extinguish the cauldron. Don’t know why.

Megaman 2 was game with the biggest formative influence on me. The boss fights were addictive, the music got stuck in my head, the password grids quickly filled up a legal pad, and the Wily stages are still just bonkers, especially without those five-year-old reflexes.

Obligatory note that the top image is a reference to Reply of the Zaporozhian Cossacks, maybe the most fun painting of all time.
