The perception was that Iowa was stodgy because of Ken O’Keefe, but he left and was replaced by Greg Davis. Nothing really changed and,in many ways, got worse. Yes, Iowa had a 12-2 season in his tenure but that had more to do with a strong defense. Ferentz keeps a tight, conservative lid on his OCs. That might change…
