I'm not capable of playing a game like Adromenda without replaying all the games before it, and maintaining my Shepard character (plus I barely even started Mass Effect 3, and definitely need to finish that before Andromeda). So a couple weeks ago I started a new game of ME 1.

God, I have to start working my way through my backlog eventually. I have "Enter the Gungeon" on my Steam account, purchased, and every once in awhile I'll look at it and be like "what the fuck is Enter the Gungeon"? I don't even remember buying it.

I keep getting distracted by other games, but after I'm done with Torment, I'm going to turn back to Darkest Dungeon. I was getting a kick out of it, but I never got very far.

So far, I don't really see any importance to it. Your class most strongly affects your abilities during combat, but there's very little fighting, at least so far. It's one of my only complaints about the game, actually - there really should be a little more action.

This weekend I'll be doing two things: playing Torment: Tides of Numenera, and coming up with excuses to get out of social obligations so that I can play more Torment.

Oh hell yeah. What's his name did a great job in Westworld, and I still kept hearing McPoyle lines every episode: "Oh yes. Don't flush."

God damn, man. That's so much better than what they did.

It was cool, but I didn't understand why they made so many references. It's not like the episode itself was some kind of dark mirror of Disney films. It felt tacked on, a little.

Ooooo, I like the McPoyles. Not the Wedding Massacre episode so much - a little McPoyle goes a long way - but they're so god damned weird and hilarious. The Gang Gets Held Hostage is amazing, that one scene in Who Got Dee Pregnant? makes me crack up every time, and so forth.

I appreciate Dennis's take here, and god knows I love me some Cricket. That love is really due to David Hornsby's excellence at the part (go back and watch the early episodes, when he's still very much Father Marra - Hornsby does an amazing job showing his gradual descent into Cricket over the course of many episodes).

Shadows of Mordor. I love that game. Fallout 4 isn't really that great, though it kills me to say it.

Hee! :)

Oh yeah. That drives me nuts. And what's with the three levels of fog of war? I think it's totally unnecessary, and it makes it hard to view the terrain.

It is so amazing, man. Seriously. I went into it completely blind - I didn't even know it existed until two seconds before I bought it - and, so far, it is a really worthy successor to PS:T. The writing is excellent, the weirdness is all there, the habit of introducing concepts and mythology hours before explaining

This weekend - and this past week - I stopped playing Torment: Tides of Numenera, which is in early release, because I thought it was too awesome and I was getting way into it. Unfortunately, though, I found out what "early release" means, and that it was likely I'd have to start over come next Sunday. So it's on the

Damn - he was really good in that part. Way better than on This is Us. I totally didn't recognize him.

It really will! What part was he?

Any info on when the next book is coming out yet? I'd love to read it before we get into yet another season on HBO. I'm already kind of mad at myself for watching last season instead of waiting for the book first.

Family is absolutely more important, but family wasn't really at risk here, was it? And Kevin seems to like grand gestures over hard work.

I didn't realize it until I looked it up while writing the above post. Broke my heart. :)
