And I haven't read anything as silly as your post. Way to misread everything I wrote and to impose your political values, preconceptions and stereotypes on me. But keep up the hate!

Wow! Way to complete misconstrue everything. I just checked, and nobody wrote anything like what you suggested. Nor does the show suggest anything like what you wrote. But enjoying hating everyone!
I don't know about that! On TV people withhold that type of information and we let it go. In real life, I don't think people join bands, or clubs, or theater troupes, or whatever, with exes (no matter how old) without explaining the situation to their significant others.
Exactly correctly, I think. Moreover, for me, the dinner scene is even worse than you described.
Yeah… but touring with Megadeth or Motley Crue would bring in money, at least. Meaning that she'd at least have the excuse that she was providing for her family by doing it. Touring with a small town country band is fucking awesome, but wait until the kids are in college. Or don't do it at all; I'm sure there are more…
Absolutely correct. Plus her insistence that the relationship is long over and insignificant is, you know, NOT TRUE. The dude tried to drive a wedge between her and her husband just last week!
Oh god. No car accident. We can't go down the Downton Abbey road.
Yeah - both she (and the show) could have handled that better. The "I want something for myself" trope rarely plays well. We all do, sister, and we rarely get it, particularly if that "something" is TO GO ON THE ROAD WITH A ROCK BAND when we have three children at home. That's the dream of a fifteen year old, not a…
I love This is Us in the same way I loved Parenthood and, above all, Friday Night Lights. Meaning I love it uncritically and without reservation. Largely without ROOM for criticism or reservation, actually. In everything else artistic I'm more of a cynic and prefer a challenge, but Jason Katims is my god now.
I think it's probably the only friendship in this show that really has a strong foundation.
I LIKE it when Marnie tries to sing. It fits in so perfectly with the character. Actually of marginal talent at everything, she's confused why she isn't awesome as soon as she decides to "be" something.
I'm not sure what "not being presented as news" has to do with the choice of subject matter - I don't think I was implying it should be "newsworthy", exactly.
Yeah. This smacks of a conflict created in the writing room, with no regard for how the characters would actually behave.
Was anyone thrown off by Marnie's seemingly genuine happiness for Hannah getting published in the NYT?
Yeah, that… wasn't good. It set off alarm bells (though I thought the rest of the episode ended up OK). The writing would have to have truly been fantastic to make that subject matter rise above your average college creative writing class, and (to the show's credit) there's never been any suggestion that Hannah is…
You know, I've never played a Wolfenstein game since Castle Wolfenstein. That's right - 1981. 81, people. I was seven.
She's one of the tougher bosses. This isn't a spoiler, really, but just in case you aren't looking for even minor advice on that battle I'll use spoiler tags: I think the battle is designed to basically insure that you leave it completely out of resources. I just threw everything I had at her, and when I ran out of…
Sounds VERY Dark Souls-ish. Plus Samurai? I'm in. Looks like I'm going to have to buy a new PS4, though - mine went tits-up like six months after I bought it. Kind of pissed off. maybe I can get it fixed, actually.
You've done this for me like twice, and I'm sorry to ask again, but can you point me to some basic guidance on how to play Sunless Sea? It looks so awesome, and I really want to get into it, but I'm so damn lost whenever I try to fire it up.
OK, that makes sense. And it would be totally fine, if the Origin platform didn't suck my balls. Or at least it did the last time I tried to use it.
