The opening was SO GOOD. Absolutely beautiful.

Ha! I'm saving often. I DO like that you can "die" (I guess) - it seems to give the game stakes that adventure games sometimes lack.
Yeah, I've jumped back into DQ4 on my phone after putting it away for like a year. It's really a great game - honestly, I'm not knocking it - but I've played enough RPGs in my life that I'm starting to get the "can I PLEASE just get the gizmo at the bottom of this cave without getting attacked again?" It can drag, is…
My advice: let Dragon Age: Inquisition wait, and wait, and wait, and wait….
Be prepared to be disappointed. Arcadia (I think that's the world's name) is nowhere near as cool as Rapture. Not much more to be said.
I agree - Rapture was amazing. I loved that game when it came out - played it over like three times right away. And it was all the amazing atmosphere; other than that, it's really kind of just a mediocre shooter.
Other than my attempts to get into I Have No Mouth Yet I Must Scream this week - which I like, but I haven't played far at all yet - I took a stab at Don't Starve one night.
Hey dude! We were talking about playing this last week.
Weird! I've been trying to finish up Dragon Quest 4 on my iPhone during my commute this week. I'm pretty far along. It's a lot of fun.
I believe that Charlie's thoughts would wander from his mom's TV career to minotaurs (though, technically, there's only one of them). I'm not convinced that he'd know the WORD minotaur, though. Although he did know what a "centaur" was in The Gang Gets Whacked, so there's that.
Ok, we have a winner. I'm going to run the M&M series, 1 through 8. Also going to play I Have No Mouth at the same time so that me and DL can talk about it, but long term, running he Might and Magic series.
Let's do it!
I think that's a great idea! Want to start now and discuss next Friday?
Yeah? Worth starting with M&M 1?
I've been there buddy. I'm trying not to exaggerate, but I probably went through a year and a half (maybe two years?) where I played, more or less exclusively, Souls/Borne games. It was exactly what you said: "yeah, this game is fine, but I COULD try a heavy armor, no shield run through Dark Souls," or "you know, you…
I just finished Doom! It was great. Maybe a little long, but I had a ton of fun. Highly recommended.
Great post! I agree that the stuff you've listed IS interesting, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Gunther's deal is too.
I've been meaning to watch Vikings for awhile now. Finding out it has a good theme song? Tonight!
I guess because I still see something redeemable in both of them. I'll put it this way: who's a more compelling character now, Noah or Whitney? Whitney doesn't even resemble a human being anymore. Noah's deeply flawed, and stuck in a cycle of bad writing and lack of narrative, but he still seems to be a person.
You posted this only a few minutes ago, I hope by now you've realized just how awesome your idea is. I really want the smoke monster from Lost to attack Noah, just flat out of nowhere, at another tedious cocktail party or something. And then he wakes up in that bear cage and Ben Linus makes fun of him.
