Yeah, my wife and I are watching just out of loyalty now. Kind of the same thing that kept us going through the later seasons of True Blood. We don't actually expect the show to ever get good again.

Noah and Helen are about the only characters I still like in the show, actually. And Season 1 was filled with characters I liked. They all just went away, or became unpleasant. Or their acting chops - I'm looking at you, Ruth Wilson - aren't up to the admittedly thin material they've been given this year.

This season has stalled. There's really not a lot to say about it beyond that. Noah's "is Gunther after him or is it a hallucination?" plot should have been two episodes at most, not a season long arc. Though Brendan Fraiser is killing it, which is a sentence I would never, ever, EVER, have expected to write. I saw Mon

Wow. I would have picked none of these as either the show's top episodes, or as good episodes for a newbie. I mean, none even make the top ten. Jesus, you don't even include Chardee MacDennis: The Game of Games?? It's like the best episode of TV ever.

Thanks! I was really psyched. :)

That's pretty much EXACTLY what I did. I really, really thought I was going to wipe, and then god knows what would happen. I couldn't effectively attack the final boss again. I wonder if the game has a "you lost" cinematic…..

I'm a sucker, so I'm going to give it another shot. For the reasons you said: it's a post-apocalyptic RPG. With a Fallout pedigree. What else is there to be said, really?

i think it lost some of its charm post- "no smoking in bars" law.

I wanted to like Wasteland 2 so much, but I just couldn't get into it. I've started it a bunch of times, but I never make it past the monks with the nuclear bombs.

I'm looking forward to playing through DS3 again. I need to get a new PS4, so it'll be awhile, but a second round will be fun. Plus I understand there was a major patch since I played.

Totally worth it! No more aliens on earth. Or I think there aren't, anyway - again I didn't actually watch the closing cinematic. :)

I revisit Minecraft all the time. Love it. Someday they're going to make an awesome sequel, though.

Definitely. I LOVED Siegmeyer. But his story ended - I don't see what's gained by having him pop up again.

Ha! But you should go. I love that town. I was seriously considering moving there and opening a legal practice with some friends when the recession hit. It's just such an exciting town. Reminds me of NY before NY turned into a very pretty, very cool museum.

Just a matter of personal taste. They make the world seem so small. It's supposed to be this giant, mysterious universe, but the same handful of places and people keep popping up. And they served no purpose! It was just fan service.

There's plenty to criticize about Dark Souls 3, but in my opinion, only for those of use who have really played the Souls/Borne franchise to death. It's still a really amazing game.

Damn, I'm jealous. I need to get down to New Orleans again soon. These days the only time I ever get there is if there's an ABA conference there or something. And that doesn't happen a lot.

Well, I finally did it - I finished X-Com 2 on Ironman! I'm honestly very pleased with myself. This was a challenging game, and I felt it was worth the enormous amount of time I invested in it. I'll definitely be playing it again - with the difficulty ramped up, still on Ironman of course (the only way to play it) and

It was pretty awful. What's hard to imagine now is that, at the time, Jim Carrey was just about the most sought-after actor in the world. Didn't he receive the highest salary every paid to an actor for Batman Forever?

That's why they need a huge earth map! So that you don't end up with one oil resource in the Mideast. Annoying.
