That’s also Cook’s Illustrated’s (and/or Kenji Lopez-Alt’s) method for faster caramelizing - add a kit of water every couple of minutes. Helps the onions break down faster and distributes the caramelized bits. Good technique!

yea, pt cruisers are hideous. but this works.
The most horrifying thing about this abomination is... I like it. I really do. The matte black doesn’t do it for me, but with an interesting paint job and a little chrome it could look pretty neat.

I think it’s a screamin good deal and sold almost immediately. I just had my E46 up for sale, priced it right, and it sold in 12 hours to the first guy that came and looked at it.

I liked it. It felt 10-15 years old and provoked just the right amount of nostalgia for simpler times of hard plastic & squishy seats.
Unfortunately, I think most rental cars have crummy options selected if any at all, so part of me is really wondering if it’s actually a good deal, or missing out on options that most other Contis on the market have.
Nothing looked very attractive to me until seeing a Lincoln Continental at sub $25k.
