Larry, You Stacey?

Just got done watching the race. Is there a worse product than NASCAR in 2019? Five fuckin’ hours, with about 2 of those being actual racing. Just awful.

My bad, thanks for the correction. I should’ve looked it up!

I grew up in Vermont, I now live a 30 minute drive from Raleigh. I’ve been to Canadians games, Rangers games, Bruins games, and a few Sharks games. All world class environments for hockey (even San Jose, honest!).

Rutgers isn’t actually in the Big Ten, right guys? ...guys?

This is really interesting, I appreciate you taking the time to lay it out. And I know that the last part is true. I’ve done a bunch of sports reporting in my time as a newspaper writer and have met male coaches who are incredible with the girls that they coach (though often, if not 100% of the time, they at some point

And for the record, I don’t mean for the last part to come off as “if you haven’t played the sport you can’t coach the sport,” but it seems like there are women out there eminently more qualified to have this position

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: stop hiring male coaches for women’s teams. There are women out there who want these jobs. Women who have actually played the fucking sport.

I’m sorry, we’re all just going to sit here and take Windy at face value?! The guy is employed because LeBron and his camp trust him, and they’ve been leaking things through him since LeBron was in high school. I don’t even mind Windy, but to think he’s objectively reporting on something here while giving out VERY

Seven Would Be Heaven™

Was at a Canes game recently and noticed several “second round” banners from recent years that actually meant “lost first game in NCAA tournament.” State gonna State.

Haha, nice. Whatever the Kinja version of getting ratio’d is, it just happened to me.

Hate to be That Guy, but this is actually why I thought Duke was the best spot for Zion: K is always going to get the most out of you defensively, and in recent years he’s been less loath to let the young guys do their thing on offense (see RJ Barrett jacking up shots at an alarming rate)

It presents an interesting question: given how badly their first dealing with the Ball family went, but also how much better Lonzo is than his brothers, would they take him?

I heard someone describe Trubisky’s QB play as when you go to a wedding and you’re not a good dancer so you just really hit it hard on one or two songs early on, make a scene, and then try and shuffle into the background never to be seen again on the dance floor, and I really like that description

Lol, biofreeze. You’re better off rubbing olive oil all over your body and doing a pain relief prayer jig to see what happens.

Nate this is way too many words. We got your point very early on. Which makes me believe you don’t understand what truly excites people about Romo’s commentary – he is concise and easy to absorb.

Yeah but I’m simply saying it seems disingenuous to list all of the things Kyrie HASN’T done in relation to his teammates but leave out the fact that he’s still won the NBA Finals as easily the second best player on a team.

And hit the game-winning shot in Game 7. But hey, details, right?

I think the issue is that there isn’t just talent waiting to be plucked. I’m not trying to make it sound like Romo is a generational talent or anything (though maybe he is, who knows), but I do think it’s an incredibly hard job and if a prerequisite is being a former coach or player, your pool is thin. Then, trying to

Wait so the generally argument here (and forgive me, I’ve never heard of this Cable thanos guy and am not about to spend an hour familiarizing myself with his brand) is that the Eagles twitter is shamelessly biting a twitter guy’s style except they are getting it totally wrong and not even doing it right?
