It’s this sort of thing that makes me reconsider the notion that the world needs to be purged by fire. I still think it should, but stuff like this gives me momentary pause.

I guess Faith isn’t that uncommon, but I’m struggling to figure out how this guy met a stripper named Family.

Call me cynical, but I can’t help but wonder if behind these shitty kids there are some shitty parents hoping for a dumptruck of cash by being the next Honey Boo Boo-esque reality TV family.

Too bad the pizza still tastes like ass.

Izzo: “What the fuck are you doing! You’re plodding around out there like fucking Frankenstein!”

until recently I thought of Aussie’s as rather sophisticated when in fact they’re MAGAland Down Under. I guess the systematic elimination of their native peoples, along with forcibly taking their children from them (the Stolen Generation) should have been my first clue to that.

“What if I told you that the NFL was going to receive important video evidence in the mail but would refuse to view it, and that Roger Goodell would in fact destroy that video evidence by stomping it to bits?

What if I told you that not all Patriots can stand up and salute?

+1 incognito tab and plausible deniability

ESPN 30 for 30 presents: Three Tugs and a Cloud of Dust: The Manipulation of Robert Kraft

Anyone who says they wouldn’t watch this video if it came out is a damn liar.

What a coincidence. I don’t want to see a video of Robert Kraft getting a hand job. I happen to like having eyeballs.

All of this goes to show that money clearly cannot buy you happiness, but it can shield you from facing any consequences for your actions.

The assumption is that they pay *the school* and that it isn’t guarenteed. Not some guy who runs a fake non-profit to bribe SAT proctors and coaches in order to get around the not-guarenteed part/make the kid think they got it without a trampoline-level leg-up. The shock is really more about how stupid and wildly out

The biggest surprise to me is that people actually seem surprised. Didn’t we always assume that the rich paid to get their kids into whatever school they wanted? I know I always assumed that was the case. Maybe we’re just all collectively amazed that they’re actually finally getting in trouble for it, even though

It’s not necessarily intentional, but how many black wrestlers are given characters where putting the belt on them makes sense? To me this is the actual problem. WWE’s black characters are rarely presented in a way that is meant for them to be taken seriously. With the Rock, his legitimacy as a contender was presented

Regarding the lack of black champions since 1985:

I think Ronda’s problem is worst than that; even if she’s break the fourth wall, she doesn’t sound like she believes anything she says. She could legitimately break every woman in the WWE, but *she doesn’t sound like she could*. Her words ring empty and feel hollow, and her attempts to talk about how fake wrestling is

Ali was also a cop and when you read why he left the force, you’ll dig the guy even more. (summary from his interview on Lillian Garcia’s podcast in the link above)

I’ll put good money on someone trying to float that they HAD to cheat admissions because the AA kids took up spots they should have had otherwise.
