Animation wise, I will sneak in Voltron and Steven Universe. Fantastic seasons for both, showing what excellence in narrative storytelling in looks like. I will also throw in Samurai Jack, since the majority of the final season is on par with some of the best episodes of the series.

It's been an incredible year for video games. I took a bit of a hiatus from gaming until last year, so I came back in time to play some of the best games of this generation.

If I could upvote you 500 times, I would.

My Michelle Gomez crush was cranked to 11 in the first ten minutes of the episode. I need a Missy "Now, don't be a bitch" reaction gif. That reaction is superb.

The scene isn't graphic at all. In fact, the movie is pretty PG-13. They probably just cleared the bar for R, in terms of language.

I was with Clive during all of the interrogations. Interacting with people that are possibly carrying a new virus? NOPE…although I am surprised how chill he's been with all of the zombies around him.

As indicated by the previews for the next episode, it looks like we're going into fanfic shippers' nightmare country. I can't wait.

I'm pretty convinced it's a flashback. Lucifer is pretty battle damaged at the end, and since he really wouldn't get that damaged by just being in the desert, it's most likely caused by him crashing to Earth when he was banished, so we might be getting an origin story that is tied to who knocked him out.

That is pretty amazing, and it would be almost too perfect.

I love how this whole episode kept me guessing if it takes place in one of the other realities, especially with Laurie showing up and Kevin seemingly forgetting everything that happened after Mapleton. I knew that Nora was still Nora, but it wasn't too much of a leap to think this was her own version alternate

Kudos to the director for not inserting "Personal Jesus" in the opening scene, although it was still stuck in my head, replacing "Personal" with "Mexican." Great callback to the previous episode, too.

I died during the confessions, especially the M'diet and voodoo comments. Great delivery of the jokes

Right when the verification device popped open, I joked to myself by thinking, "And now, please enter your penis." I started laughing when it actually went there.

I was dying during every scene that Maya Rudolph appeared in. She's so hilarious in this episode.

The use of music in this series continues to delight me in strange ways. I used to listen to Apocalyptica's cover album of Metallica's songs, so it was a nostalgia trip to hear it during the opening flashback. Also, the use of the Gravediggaz song may seem a little on the nose for the opening credits, but I dug it.

I love Aku trolling everyone (including the viewers) with the use of the original opening in his presentation. Pretty straightforward and understated ending, but it's been an amazing last season, so I can forgive it

Coriolanus laughing in triumph as he "walked" away reminds me how much I missed this incredibly goofy show. It's definitely an excellent pallet cleanser for shows like The Leftovers

Gah…Memorial Day can't come soon enough…that preview is pretty epic.

The Freaky Frid-Aliens line really got me, and I'm a sucker for anthology episodes.

I like the fact that Steven crosses a desert to open a door that he could have just walked around. I feel that there is a metaphor in there somewhere…
