Just seeing the image, my mind immediately went to two places Modesty Blaise and Æon Flux.

Modesty Blaise makes sense, but I have no idea where the Æon Flux vibe is coming from, so I decided to look up the creators. It turns out Tony Salmons was a character designer on Æon Flux.

I don’t mind that Salem is no longer a human.  Honestly, Sabrina having a pet who’s actually a man is rather weird.  But no talking?!?  Then he is just barely above a regular cat.  That might be a dealbreaker.

I liked the cat just fine. As seen in this clip, he’s no longer a human trapped in a cat’s body. He’s a creature who she beckons during a spell, bonding them to each other.
