I don’t buy much in the way of canned vegetables, but it’s easy to find whole, peeled tomatoes without added salt.

We’ve been using better than bullion, tons more flavor and MUCH less sodium than the salt cubes.

people are way more concerned about salt than they need to be

Wodathunk cubes of flavored salt would be salty?

Google’s own reputation for being cancel-happy on new projects represented a significant barrier to entry for me. I did take advantage of their “free” Stadia Pro bundle for YouTube Premiu subscribers to get a controller and Chromecast Ultra though.

Ta-Nehisi Coates is one of the best living writers in the world right now, I wouldn’t judge the movie off one interview answer where he kind of makes a good point imho

Apparently The Collected is the third movie in The Collector series.

Sony, I know what you’re thinking. Things are going well, and that’s why this is the perfect time to fuck things up. It’s what you do.

Oooo, Malice!  Watch in-their-prime Alec Baldwin and Nicole Kidman chew the scenery with titanium teeth while Bill Pulman quietly steals the whole show.  Love that movie.

Loki takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and sees Loki using the Tesseract to enter an alternate timeline.

Hah. You’re not wrong, although I’ll say the developers of the SNES port of Race Drivin’ have already had all the disrespect that was coming their way at the time of launch.

Most underrated soundtrack on the NES.

Yup, AND Raimi already directed a really good PG-13 horror movie in Drag Me to Hell.

I’m enjoying the show and am reasonably hopeful that they’ll stick the landing, but it’s also a good example of some of the structural limits on trying to tell an experimental story in the framework of the MCU. The sitcom parodies/pastiches are great, and for a while they even managed to channel a little bit of

Hey, mind fuck horror and all ages entertainment are not inherently incompatible.

Darcy’s circus getup reminded me of Clea a bit, then she specifically said she was a STEM girl - Stephen Strange didn’t understand magic at first, either.

My favorite bit was absolutely Vision calling out how dumb it was he was a. talking to a camera and b. sitting in a van.
