Re: Superhero durability
Re: Superhero durability
I don’t have the exact reference, but to the question about super strength/super-durability, etc. there was an Ultimate X-Men arc where it was revealed that when Colossus took on his metal form, he actually did not gain any enhanced strength and would be unable to lift his arms. He was, in fact, taking a sort of…
Simultaneously comics faithful, and also looking like the photo on a piece of cardstock in a vinyl costume bag at that store that only rents space in the mall for a month every year.
Yes, I know who George Saint-Pierre is. And I know what his accent is - I have the same one. And it’s totally, hilariously wrong for the role of a character that is supposed to French-Algerian.
I keep hoping the show will eventually get to the Waid-Samnee era. I was hoping this would be Ikari!
Why does the arrival of Bullseye have to indicate they’re doing a Dark Avengers thing? Why can’t it just be Bullseye... one of Daredevil’s nemesis?
That would be Georges Saint Pierre. 2 division UFC champion and considered one of the best. He is French Canadian so that’s where its accent comes from. He is no actor but the guy kicks ass, or used to since he retired but recently came back.
13 episodes feels drawn out however it seems to work best when the main villain sticks around an entire season for some reason. I would’ve thought splitting it into 2 6 episode stories would work better, yet here we are.
Not confirmed but rumored. Sort of like Mysterio.
Aww, I hoped you were talking about Stiltman. I’m not pleased until Matt fights him in a hallway with a very, VERY high ceiling.
It’s definitely Daredevil, but it’s not in reference to Dark Avengers. There’s a classic Ann Nocenti story (Daredevil, volume 1, issues 284-290) where Bullseye starts impersonating Daredevil when he has amnesia, and at the end, they’re fighting each other in the other’s costume, both unclear which one is Daredevil and…
A distinct lack of faith in their own product is what I’m getting off this whole thing. Or do they expect kids to set their recorders to watch it later? If I remember right it’s the same thing they did to their animated Tron show (which I loved) after only a few episodes.
He betrayed and destroyed that one as well.
I’m pretty sure everything Mutant Enemy has made this century has been to some degree a remake of Firefly. :P
Can’t wait till Kaz meets Maz.
Matter it does not. Enjoy them I will.
I don’t doubt it. The suits have no idea what the fuck it is and so ignore it. While they know who Robin is and probably can’t shut up about Titans.
The site also reports Werner Herzog may have his own role in the series, so, take this information with a few grains of salt—specially imported from Crait.
NOTE: The “Energized Spider-Man” toy ad pictured on the back of the comic book that Ganke Lee is reading was a REAL ad for a REAL toy! It was made by Remco in the late 70s and ads ran on the back of many Marvel comics during this period. There was also an energized Green Goblin toy available, of course.
Alright, i gotta ask.
What the fuck is the point of making an amazon if they ain’t got no muscle?
