I do like the fact that it’s a kid’s movie and the kids in it swear all the time.

I adore the picture but I can no longer defend it as actually being good.

It’s weird, right? I mean, I’m certain that last season was a satisfying challenge for Clark Gregg to be playing “Sarge” but damn if the reveal of who that character was and how he came to exist was super-underwhelming.

I dunno, I think I liked her better when she was a cat.

In most respects Salem MA is a great town, I have very close friends who live there, but jeez do I resent the fact that they have used one of the most regretful miscarriages of “justice” in our American civilization’s history to turn the city into a damn Halloween theme park.
Hey let’s have a gift shop for the Trail

If I recall correctly at least Spider-Man 1 and 2 (the Raimi ones) were shot on actual film so to say they were 4K is inaccurate.

Yeah, and the talk about it being an hourlong show gives me pause. One of the things I really love about Cowboy Bebop is how tight the storytelling is. The eps are only a half hour long but by the time they are over you feel like you’ve watched a 90 minute feature film.

Ed Asner likes to work.

OutRun with a joystick?

So, does every animation studio in Japan just have a shit-ton of magnetic poetry sets that they use to create these titles?

He can do “brooding and mournful” pretty well but the Black Knight I remember from the comics was usually depicted as a bit of a hothead. We’ll see.

Iron Man and Iron Man 2 actually employed a fair amount of both full and partial practical costuming for the suits in some scenes but I think by the time Avengers was into production they were going full CGI replacement.

Hasn’t this been standard operating procedure for a lot of superhero films for quite some time now?

Just here to weigh in with another demographic data point—this is/was a cherished Easter tradition in our large Italian family in eastern MA.

If everybody paid their fair share maybe we wouldn’t be so resentful, particularly because it’s only the super-rich that have the mechanisms to dodge paying taxes.

It is known! If you have HBO there is a tremendously good documentary on Andre’s life on there, don’t sleep on it.
