I felt that this animation was mostly fine and definitely superior to other cgi anime (like Knights of Sidonia), so hopefully it’s getting better since I imagine that this animation style will only get more common.

I definitely expected the show to deal with her feeling responsible for it, but maybe they’re saving it for next season. I’m not sure if she even realized how bad the addiction was (in comparison to his usual excessive alcohol and drug use).

I am a huge fan of the show, so take this with a grain of salt, but I think there is a lot of material left, in part because I’m fairly pessimistic about those arcs.
