yep, the "I'm about to be a huge Marvel star and I have no fucks to give about TV anymore" is palpable

It’s a straight forward sitcom executed very well with a great cast. It’s not breaking the mold (except for the fact that the cast is almost entirely Asian) but it’s got a lot of heart and earnest charm that’s pretty rare nowadays.

Asian-American here. Absolutely LOVED the show for the first 4 seasons. It was so funny, and episodes were short and easy to watch, experiences rather realistic to real life for me. Haven’t watched the 5th yet, but people have said it’s very unresolved and rather disappointing. After reading this backstory, I think it

In my mind — Lost, How I Met Your Mother, Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones* — these and others all to some degree didn’t quite stick the landing and/or didn’t quite clear the bar on the high jump (pick your metaphor).

Zack Snyder desperately needs a partner. He can do set pieces but literally nothing else. He needs someone to string those pieces together and fill the quiet moments.

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson strike me as two actors who had this phenomenal success and then just decided they would do anything they wanted. Anderson has had a great post-X-Files career of picking interesting and unique roles. And there’s no way that Duchovny is making bank on writing novels and and rock

It was an hour too long.

In the sequel they build a wall along the border with Mexico.

yes and this meme featuring him is the only good thing that came of it.

“In his defense, Lindell has attended RGA conferences as recently as winter of last year—thanks to support from our previous Asshat-in-Chief—where he was encouraged by fellow asshats to run for Asshat of Minnesota”

Same, though I expected the worst due to the director involved.

I enjoyed it and thought this movie is what Suicide Squad should have been (and hopefully will be when Gunn’s version comes out). All of the characters were pretty great, I do have some gripes with the plot (Bautista’s daughter going into Olympus really didn’t make sense to me).

this movie gets a B from dowd? THIS ONE? I like Zombie films, this was trash. TRASH.

and the worst collection of c-list folky country covers. The WORST, Jerry.

Did it seems to anyone else that the Alphas must have been portrayed exclusively by *dancers*... they were always posing and preening acrobatically like a bunch of undead jellicle wannabes!

And that extends to the aesthetic. The movie never repeats the fun energy of that opening credits sequence again, nor does it utilize the Las Vegas setting

I’m always interested in the subtext of what zombie movies- even the fun ones- have to say about society, but this one doesn’t say much. I’m also often interested in the mechanizations that heist movies need to pull off a great score, but this one doesn’t have much. The movie’s most interesting ideas imo, were some of

Weird, the trailer says $200 mil.
But either way, each $100M will weigh about a ton, the weight will get you before the volume (you could probably get $500M in 20-25 good sized duffels, but each one would weigh 400-500 lbs, even for Bautista, that’s a non-starter).
Note: assuming it’s all in 100 dollar bills

I haven’t got a chance to see the movie since it hasn’t shown yet, and maybe it gonna get revealed later. But, $500mil is a lot of mullah to transport. How are they gonna do that? Most certainly not with duffel bags, because they gonna need hundreds of those. Not to mention time is not on their side.

How much laundry do you have? Are you a sports team equipment manager?

He’s off filing a vague complaint about the lead zombie being kinda racist.
