Army of the Dead is the Citizen Kane of Las Vegas zombie apocalypse action extravaganzas.

I would never threaten Gadot, partly because I’m a nice guy, and partly because I’m 100 percent sure she could kick my ass.

Don’t think there’s anything very unreasonable about that. He’s airing someone out in an attempt to (fairly or otherwise) malign them in the public eye. It’s only natural for the public to want to get the details of what went down and not just accept vague insinuation as a referendum on someone else’s character.

I really hope "handled it on the spot" means she kicked him in the nuts.

I thought that was going somewhere else but you surprised me.

Ugh. I tried to do a free account on the Times, but it requires payment up front so no. Let me dig up the other article I read on this today, had some better quotes. AVClub definitely is leaving out a bunch of better quotes.

One of the parts in the interview, which AV Club doesn’t include, is that Rogen is clearly troubled by all of this --- because this dude was, like, one of his best friends. Franco can get fucked for this clear pattern of abuse. I wouldn’t rush to lambaste Rogen for not recognizing or having a hard time coming to terms

‘Rolls in the Deuce’ sounds like some kind of Southern breakfast treat that involves a LOT of gravy...and rolls, I guess.

I will note that “executive producer” can mean anything, and that Dave Franco is actually working with them, nobody has said anything bad about him, and he’s married to Alison Brie...but your comment is really the most relevant in this comments section. Like, that should be addressed. I will note that, like going back

Wife and I watched the first four episodes of Shadow and Bone, which are books my wife has read. I am, despite tropes, not entirely sure what is happening.

I’ve never used nor really know much about Clubhouse, but I imagine being an audio-only social media platform means that every topic room inevitably devolves into rascist rehortic eventually.

“If you’re wondering if they get COVID

I’m not the audience for Pearl Jam specifically, but man, I hope this becomes a thing. More bands just need to dump all their recordings online and let the, like, five sociopathic fans who want to go through them go through them.

I think we may finally be over the hump on the Superhero trend, or at least the now beaten-to-death attempts at deconstructing it (which I think totally miss the point of what people see in it)

It is a pretty cool statue. I was expecting a schoolgirl to be involved somehow, but maybe my impression of Japanese culture needs some work.

It’s weird to me that we live in a world where people are eagerly anticipating the announcement of the seventh actor to play James Bond, but Hollywood executives can’t trust us to want to see a different actor play adult Indy in the movies (there’s been two others on TV and River Phoenix as Teen Indy).

In the meantime,

I just hope he doesn’t cannibalize all the screen time.

Yeah, it’s still a momumental achievement. The writing/plotting was just so rushed that you felt like B&W were just ticking checkboxes on their way to Martin’s planned conclusion.

You’re confusing Hightower and Jones.

I am really disappointed that Moses Hightower isn’t the family lord
