Yo...MTV Raps!

I’m so over ‘angry’ looking cars. The narrow slits for headlights. The reptilian features. The only designed on a computer screen aesthetic. It is so obvious the clay models were never finessed by human hands under natural light to bring out any warmth...

The idea that the AVClub actually went through hundreds of pictures to select these as ‘the best’ is pretty funny.

You are right to be confused. That statement makes zero sense.

I saw an F1 race at Silverstone back in 1988 when I was just a wee teenager. I remember the tickets were the equivalent of an expensive concert seat, so maybe about $30. Wasn’t even a concern. The biggest worry I had was finding the right bus stop to get there.

Part of me feels like a sucker for playing along with this game. Ironically, the most amateurish aspect of this show is how it always sets up survive / die corporate governance situations, and then just resolves them or ignores them with a single brush stroke.

Oh, it’s another know-it-all Jalopnik thread.

Slideshow where you still need to scroll down to see the point? Sounds like another average day at G/O Media Inc.

Re: ‘You can be excited for exciting things and still dislike Musk.’

This guy was so obviously raised on antiquated TV / Radio announcer habits, the first thing a viewer does is turn down the volume, then tell the girlfriend - don’t worry, I’m only watching this one video - and finally cringe through the rest of the delivery.

Just back from Mexico where I rented a Chang’an Motors car with 5,000 km on the clock...

Jebus. Before I even clicked I was worried...

What’s wrong, AVClub?

Indeed. It has been a longtime since I watched Groundhog Day, but I can’t think of even one scene that I would characterize as emasculating - depriving of masculine strength or spirit.

Plane fall down, go “boom!”

TSLA has a market cap just below $600 billion.

Would have been better presented NOT as a slideshow, but then the AVClub decision makers already know this. Okay, cool. Just throw this complaint on the pile, which is now eight stories high.

Yes. I saw an I-Pace at the mall, and it was a small sensation. One guy nearly ran out of the Ace Hardware so he could talk to the driver.

Thank God we live in a country where the movie-going public clearly believes if one person in a marriage is a shit (literally) then the other person is automatically a persecuted saint.

I wonder how the clutch is? That’s not many miles at all. And it doesn’t look like the body is dinged up from rocks or doors slamming into it. Plus, those seat? Nice.  There is a lot of good news with this car.
