Re: ‘Occasionally, The Rhythm Section offers us glimpses of these happier times in flashbacks that are filmed with Penthouse-ian quantities of hazy lens diffusion to distinguish them from the movie’s otherwise gloomy palette: The Patricks live in their showroom kitchen and living room in Stephanie’s memory, everyone

It would be nice if Ferrell decided to grow a too-bushy beard before doing these types of movies. We’d have fair warning from the get-go then.

Just curious... what part of the country was your old house in?

I’m a Colorado resident and the assault / rape that happened here (and was then left unprosecuted for - uh - reasons) made a ton of press, and I read all about it. (Colorado is a professional sports Mecca, by the way, so we’re used to reading / hearing stories about John Elway’s son losing his temper, NBA players

I read King’s editorial this morning, and it makes some great points, but he doesn’t go far enough.

I’ve got maybe 50 or 60 old issues of Autocar and Motor lying around in the basement. Like this one, the advertisements you find in them are just the best...

Drop us a line when you get a job as a pool cleaner in 1978!

This is the kind of product management that really helps drive home the reasons behind AML’s 12 month Operating Income Growth of negative 95.8%.

Exactly! And where, indeed, are the police?

Well, Laurel has geography on its side... There were forestry operations during the slave epoch - rather than cotton plantations - so it has less of of THAT culture. But yeah, it’s still a town in a state that features a version of the confederate flag on its state flag.

Indeed.  Playing dumb regarding economic demographics and the skewed landscape that THEY CREATED is one of the worst traits of older generations.

What’s deal with the host of My Lottery Dream Shack and his tattoos?

Watching Anne Hathaway fail to illicit even a small spark during a Between Two Ferns episode demonstrates just what a chore she is... I’m a Joan Didion reader but this sounds horrible.

I’m a bit of ridiculous person when it comes to keeping cars. As I write this, I’m currently running one Jaguar and still have two of MB’s in the garage as well... They all get used and driven regularly. The Mercedes cars have been very reliable, but on both cars the transmissions have had problems - one of them began

I’ve owned three modern Jags... They haven’t performed any worse on the reliability front than my three modern Mercedes. They’ve also excelled in basic want to drive it...

This generation Panamera is dynamically junk. Bad steering feel, clumpy suspension, etc., and then you get to those looks... There’s a reason these are depreciation nightmares.

The driver-less car from... General Motors...

To each his own, but staying “no” to chrome accents (especially window trim that emphasizes that beautiful tapering 911 rear quarter window) on a back-dated 911 is not my choice.  The same with the 1980's fuchs wheels that retreat into the background.

Mercedes Benz designers proving the CLS’s headlights don’t look good on the SL, but - hey - why stop there?  Let’s put a single bar on the grill too...

Got it, and thanks for sharing your opinion. I will give it all the consideration it deserves.
