Yo...MTV Raps!

I, unfortunately, currently live in a military town, and as such would like to nominate absolutely all of the small-itsy-bitsy-tiny-little-pee-pee cars and trucks from Chrysler / Dodge.

Yup... Here’s a bit from C&D on their long term Boxster S:

‘...has all the interior style of some rich guy’s dad in a bomber jacket and lots of gold chains...’

There’s a heap of more people that need to be fired immediately and most definitely without golden parachutes attached. I’m thinking of those who first suggested and then engaged in the “pilot error / poor training” blame game, which was directed at the airlines, pilots, etc. immediately following the crashes.

I’ve had a 1985 Jaguar XJ6 which was the most reliable car I’ve ever owned... no kidding. The only time it required a tow was when it threw its serpentine belt, which was just a matter of me not keeping up with expected maintenance. I sold it at 160,000. Oil changes and brakes and tires. That was it.

OMG. Again with the Jaguars as a whipping boy for lack of durability, reliability, etc.

Good question, but I’m betting it was at a least a dozen engineers designing that one tail-light, and the team was headed by a guy who had an accounting degree and cut his teeth on product management working for Mary Kay.

Yeah... Even the Washington Post is echoing that sentiment.

My GF was watching this just last week, while I was in the kitchen. She blurted out: “That is soooooo stupid. No person does that!”

Yeah, I would never put acid-trip and George Lucas together.

Agree 100% on the 997.2...

Has anyone posted one of RedLetterMedia’s Nerd Crew parodies on here yet? I feel like they’re doing a hilarious / excellent job reacting to the Disney Fan Army Marketing Behemoth.

If I close my eyes I can still remember the engine vibrations coming through the steering wheel, the torque steer, and even the no-base sound coming through the stereo of my 1985 Ford Escort as it played De La Soul’s debut album. These era Fords were actually pretty good cars for the money, with much more

It’s right there in the headline:

I hear Fat Kilmer’s Ice Man character has been reassigned to the Lockheed C-5, after some unfortunate years at Country Buffet...!

Has Scorsese actually been “insufferable” over this?

Indeed. Hopefully, at least, this election will put to rest the idea that the BBC is somehow an impartial observer in all of this.

A man that write equally well about Project Runway and the NFL...?   I doff my cap, John Teti.

Well, I have a 400 mile trip every few weeks, which includes driving over a mountain pass. It also often includes crazy headwinds, running the AC, and occasional forays into triple digit speeds. I wonder what all of that would do to the range of your average EV?
