It's free to change, but she's not being too weird, really — basically she doesn't want me to waste money on cosmetic stuff, which makes it hard for me to research cosmetic stuff that I might potentially want to one day splash out on. For example, my front two teeth are a little bit chipped, but she says there's

THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST!

Mine were totally sideways (and pointed slightly *downwards*) too! I love that X ray; I look like some sort of mutant.

I am saving up for Invisalign now. I did have braces as a kid but my wisdom teeth messed it all up, and it's driving me crazy.

My NHS braces made my teeth lovely… and then my wisdom teeth came through and smushed them all together again, so I suspect the braces trauma may have been pointless.

I'm really glad to hear that about Invisalign; I'm definitely considering it. I had braces as a kid, too, but then my wisdom teeth came in and messed them all up again.

My dentist keeps telling my I don't need anything done, but I would really like braces (or Invisalign, or something else that might straighten my teeth)! She really tried to talk me out of having anything other than metal crowns, too, but I fought to have at least one non metal one. It's odd because dentists so often

I had braces when I was 13ish, and when my wisdom teeth came through the smushed all my other teeth up and messed them all up again. Ugh.

Ooh, where did you live here?

I don't think there has ever, ever been someone more attractive to me than young Paul Newman.

I have a friend who's friends with the lady in question, and has some fun stories of awkward social situations in which she had to hang out with Gary Oldman but pretend not to be speechlessly awed by his fanciability.

There's a similar file on me somewhere, apparently. The person's job in question was purely admin and not even exciting (unless it was all lies!) but there was some sort of security clearance involved. I found myself oddly wishing I'd done some more suspicious stuff so my file would be more exciting.

I'm really proud London got a sign in!

I once rewatched the last episode of Sherlock trying to figure out how the whole fake-death thing was done, and I took notes… then couldn't figure it out and moved on with my life. Months later I found the notes but didn't know what they were about and thought I'd gone temporarily mental. It's all about ties and

Now playing

This is really a tangent because it's about being angry with a bloke for a dream that he had instead, but one of my favourite scenes of one of my favourite programmes is this one — it's after 20.33, but the whole episode (and all the episodes!) is great:

I even read the original piece to see if I could figure it out… but no, it's just really weird.

That was my primary concern with this story, too.

I was wondering that too! As well as, why is "Latvia" in quotes?!

Also, "noted" is one of my favourite words. I use it a lot in one-word replies to work emails with which I disagree but am powerless to argue against. It's satisfying.

Yes. EXACTLY like that, and I haven't even heard Tyra say it for a billion years. It's just in my head that way FOREVER.
