I didn’t even recognize her at first. She looks like Lou Ferrigno wearing a Kate Gosselin wig.

To be honest for a game that basically revolves around it’s character creation tools as much as the Sims does, the amount of hair options and variety of styles in general are pathetic. Also I am not sure why they can’t just have one of those large skin tone slider grids that other games give you so you can pick the…
It’s weird how people miss the point. This is what descendants look like. Almost all human populations would have looked almost exactly like this 10,000 years ago, and for the preceding 290,000 years before that. Middle Eastern farmers brought “light skin” into Europe while at the same time, these people got lighter…
I try to avoid previews for fear of spoilers, but literally every frame of this movie looks so, so gorgeous, and 90% of that is due to how stunning all the characters look. The Academy had better remember this February release by the time January rolls back around.
This suggests 7700 years for people living in high latitudes, 5800 for mainland Europe as opposed to Sweden:
You missed Gary Younge’s reaction:
Wiki says they got divorced when she was 30—it’s possible but it doesn’t seem super likely to me that she would describe herself as “really young” at that point in her life...
According to the last few things I’ve read, the hunter-gatherer Europeans had light features (blue/green eyes, blonde/red hair) but dark skin, while the farmers who were migrating in slow waves from the Levant had fair skin and dark features. Light skin came from the changing diet of farmers, who had need of Vitamin D…
I’d guess it’s also adverse selection.
Also, this happened
Really her best bet would be TV. That’s where the roles for women are and they may be more willing to take the risk. But I’m not sure she has the discpline to do that. (A movie can be more demanding but then it’s over. TV you have to show up clean and ready to work over a long period of time.)
Just here to say I fucking love Easy A.
When he snatched that flag he became a defiant symbol. Damn this smells funny
Oh, I’m aware of the rumors. All the more reason to ask about her time there.
And while we’re on the subject of Dubai, why didn’t W (or Wendy, for that matter) try to get to the bottom of what she’s been doing there?
Fair enough. I was reading a book that was talking about this, and I thought it was super interesting that Europeans and Asians evolved white skin separately, from different mutations. And then the Aboriginals evolved dark skin back from their lighter-skinner Asian ancestors. Evolution is cool.
Yea, why would it be surprising that they had dark skin? Isn’t the current theory that Europeans and Asians evolved lighter skin as a way to get more vitamin D (since dark skin blocks it, which helps prevent skin cancer)? So of course they would have had darker skin originally.
Except that they tell you that pasteurized cheese is fine, and indeed a good thing to eat for your calcium and protein intake. And then you get something like this (a listeriosis outbreak in purportedly pasteurized cheese) that shows you it isn’t. The point is, as a pregnant woman you can’t zero out risk. You just…
They can’t do a study because it would be unethical to put pregnant ladies in a drinking and non-drinking group. And the full NYT article talks about how gathering evidence after the fact is difficult because moms don’t want to participate and self-report their levels/times of drinking. So the CDC has to err on the…
Sure, people may suffer or die.
