I HATE going to the movies opening weekend. Double hate doing it for Marvel movies. We didn’t see Thor until right before Christmas. I bought our Black Panther tickets for 2/18 like two weeks ago. The only other movie that got me in the theatre opening weekend was Wonder Women. Yet movies starring not white guys can’t…

it’s not so bad now with reserved seating.  I hated standing in the lines for hours to get a decent seat.

I’ll be real: Dudes with Boston accents turn my crank. So I’m here to back up Boston (except if you’re sexual abuser and then you get nothing but that has nothing to with Boston).

I usually avoid opening weekend for movies (crowds=yuck) and my daughter doesn’t even like comic book movies but we just got our tickets for Thursday, 2/15.  We’re all about sending a message to whoever that, yes, a movie not starring white men can make money.
