It literally wasn’t. It’s amazing how people still get the ending of Lost wrong.
My replacement Kang choice is Babs Olusanmokun.
“Those Old Scientists” was an utter triumph for both the Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks cast members involved
Okay but ‘Those Old Scientists’ and ‘Subspace Rhapsody’ are legitimately two of the greatest episodes Star Trek has ever done.
I’ve been pushing this year that instead of Die Hard, we really need to embrace Lethal Weapon as the top action Christmas movie.
This one really surprised me. Bugsy isn’t that great; it’s mostly just Warren Beatty playing himself, which he did in every film since Reds.
It is physically impossible for me to eat a hot dog with mustard without thinking, “A hot dog. With mustard.”
There is also no planet where Bugsy is a better movie than Miller’s Crossing.
Please god put him in a Star Trek show.
“The thing is, it’s not even “really” a Godzilla film- Toho still considered the series finished after DAM, and this was more something to help sell the first Champion Festival (a triple feature program intended to get kiddies back in theaters as the film industry was collapsing.)“-
So it's a remake of 'Airport '77'?
Any list of Portman’s best work that doesn’t include foulmouthed rapping on SNL is woefully incomplete.
Several years ago I took one of my kids to a Minecraft convention here in LA. One of the attractions was the author of the tie-in novel Minecraft: The Island... Max Brooks. Yes, that Max Brooks, signing copies of the book.
Kafaka!
Well, I do remember people being drained to lifeless husks in The Planet of Evil, people being drained into alien monsters in The Image of the Fendahl (plus some homicide on the side) and don’t get me started on how many people ended up in that woodchipper in The Seeds of Doom.
Elon’s empty threat was so moronic that it drove Ken “Popehat” White back on the site:
I’m a sucker for Christmas episodes that are set on Christmas but not really anchored in Christmas themes, so I always go straight to “The Unquiet Dead.” That, and I love a good Christmas ghost story.
“A Christmas Carol” is imho the best Doctor Who Christmas special. We watch it as a family every year
“A Christmas Carol” for me. Buries the needle on sentimentality, with a great sci-fi dilemma at its core.
